2009/4/23 Just a quick updateJust a quick note (again), we are all doing ok. Not been feeling overly creative lately, but will add more soon. 2008/5/30 The big storm.....We had some crazy weather here a week or so ago. There was rain, hail and tornados in some of the surrounding areas. A little town about 15 miles from us got hit with a toranado. There was alot of damage, but only one death.
We had a hail storm, the hail stones were some of the biggest I've ever seen in person. The hail that came down in other places where as big as baseballs. Ours were almost golf ball size. The pictures are of my husband's hand, he's not a small person.
The hail wiped out my iris blooms, but the plants themselves are fine. 2008/4/27 Finally an update After a long time away, I have finally made it back.
I am on vacation this week. I've been working for a year at Circle K. It's a gas station/convienece store. I'm the assistant manager. I've always liked working in customer service. I like people for the most part. There are always a few idiots or assholes, but, as in life you take the good with the bad.
The kids are doing well, getting big. Whisper turned 11 on Tuesday, Ronin will be 8 next month, and Zinan will be 4 in June. I'll post some new pics of them soon.
Things are going ok. It's life.
I will post more later. In the mean time, be kind to each other. 2008/3/31 Back after how long........?Well, I am finally back. I have my own laptop too. I will update more later on.
Hi to all. 2006/10/25 New Job....Just another quick note to say we are all still here. I started a new job at 7 11. I'm back in my comfort zone. I had a short stint as a telemarketer and a maid, both of which SUCK!!! I've always enjoyed customer service.
The kids are doing well, growing like weeds, I'll post some pictures when I can. Right now I don't have my computer and the library computers won't let you upload stuff of course.
In the mean time be nice to each other. 2006/9/29 Yes, I'm still alive, barely....Just another quick note to let anyone still checking that we are still alive. It's turning to fall and the leaves are changing. I don't have too much to say right now, so I will try to post something later.

Have been kinda' busy. Working in my little patch of dirt. My garden plants are doing really well.
I have a paper route, it's ok, makes for very early mornings. I usually get up at around 2-2:30am. I get done by 5:00am. It's a job, of sorts.
I hope all else is well for any visitors. Please leave a comment, I like to hear from other people here too.
Be nice to each other. 2006/7/7 The Garden...I have added some pictures of my growing garden. They are after the snake an horse pictures. It's finally starting to get some veggies growing.
I am starting a paper route in the morning. 2:30am. Ugg. But it's a job for now. I will still try to find something else part-time for the day.
The weather has been really nice. A little on the warm side, but that's summer in Colorado.
We set off some fireworks on the 4th of July, and then watched the town display. It was alot of fun. I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy chasing Zinan down and keeping Ronin from trying to pick up lit fireworks. All in all, it was still fun. 2006/6/27 Small updateNot much to report. Ronin got his stiches out, and it's looking pretty good. We've been treating the scar with Mederma for Kid's. I think he will have a small scar no matter what.
I've aquired a few more plants. I just can't seem to help it. "At least it's not kittens", is what I tell Nate. I'll post some pictures of them later. (I know no one is really interested, but I am) ha ha.
I'm also working on starting a home based business. A houseplant service. We'll see how it goes. I'm still working on the flyers and business cards, plus what the rates and such should be.
In the meantime: BE NICE TO EACH OTHER. 2006/6/9 I just don't get it...Today I went up to Lyons. Lyons is a small town nestled right up against the mountains. It boasts of being the "Twin Gateways to the Rockies" it is.
Anyway, I walked part of the "Lyons Scupture Walk". I have to say that I just don't get it. Am I just not aware of what art is? I don't think so. Of the "sculptures" that I looked at, I only liked two. Try to guess which two.
My grandfather does bronze sculpture.

Be nice to each other. 2006/5/24 StuffI haven't made a real post in awhile.
I've been busy with other things and just haven't had too much to say as of late. We are all doing well. The kids will be out of school by June 2nd. What fun, for them. My garden is having a hard time. I think the soil I bought was not too good, so far everything I've planted in it has died. I am going to get some new planter boxes and get some new, better soil and try again.
My houseplants are doing incredible! Miricle Grow does wonders.
Nate got his job back at the paper where he was working before, so we will have good insurance again. I am looking for a new job again. I'm waiting till the kids are out of school, and then try to find something part time. Nate is back on nights, so he still needs time to sleep.
Appearantly Nate's side of the family have disowned him. They didn't really want him to come back to me and the kids. I'm not sure what all that is about, but be that as it may, life at our end goes on.
The weather has been hot and dry. Typical Colorado summer. Hopefully the thunderstorms will start up, we need the moisture.
I will have some new picture to put up soon, in the meantime, be nice to each other.

My question was: Why do blue popcicles freeze before red ones?
I just wanted to see what kind of answers I would get.
2006/5/9 Trackbacks not allowed!!!Ok, I've had it with stupid trackbacks! I don't know who put them here, and I don't care. They had nothing to do with anything I had written. I have disabled them. I had five trackbacks for the same thing and it was fucking stupid, some lame search engine.
I wouldn't mind if the trackbacks had some bearing on the entries they were posted too, but of course they didn't. Maybe I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does.
Anyway, that's all I have to say for now.
Be nice to each other. 2006/4/30 Not too much to say today....I don't have too much to talk about today. My pumkin plant died. It just didn't survive the trampling. I will start again. We already have a number of seedlings going already, cucumbers, mini-pumpkins, various hot peppers, and various bell peppers, some herbs and I will be starting to outside garden soon. We will be planting corn, peas, zucchini, yellow squash and tomatoes. Plus I think we will try to grow a giant pumpkin, just for fun.
My small flower bed is doing well. The stupid cat ruined my larger flower bed. Something about tilled soil that he couldn't resist. We will have to rake out most of the soil and replace it, and then cover it with netting to keep the crapper cat out.
We will see how things go. 2006/4/16 My birthday......Yesterday was my birthday.

And the insurance on my accident was settled..I got $950.00 and I get to keep my car. It would have cost more to fix it than it's worth. Since we only paid $100.00 for the car four years ago, I can't complain. At least my rent got paid. 2006/4/14 My poor pumpkin plantMy poor pumpkin plant is somewhat worse for wear. I put it outside near a window. Well, my daughters little friends thought it was funny to put their hands through the window. In the process, managed to trample my pumpkin plant.
It may survive, but I was really upset about it. As soon as we can, we are going to fence the front yard in. I am tired of the neighbors kids messing around in my yard. My kids know better then to mess around with other people's things.
I hope it will recover, pumpkin plants are pretty tough. We'll see.
In the meantime , Be nice to each other. 2006/4/7 The growing jungle....Have I mentioned that I have a slight obsession with growing things? I'm finally at a point where I have a little more time to devote to growing some houseplants and such.
I'm going to plant some Moonflowers and Morning Glorys along my back fence. I hope to get my garden beds in before the end of this month. I want to put in raised beds so I can save my back some trauma. And I also don't have to dig up so much heavy dirt.
I've started my peppers, tomatoes, cucubers and Jack Be Little pumkins, these only get two or three inches across. Mostly decrative, but appearently edible when fresh. I am also going to plant some Mammoth Suflowers in the front of my house where the sun beats down all summer. The birds will love them once the seeds are mature.
